Watch Out for Verizon to Carry the Xperia Z4v

If you are a Verizon fan, then watch for a Xperia Z4v to be on the shelf soon. The Xperia Z4v, the latest smartphone from Sony, will be on Verizon soon. It is scheduled to happen this summer.
Sony’s phone sets itself apart from its many competitors with features such as its PS4 Remote Play and video recording abilities. The PS4 play feature lets users play PS4 games right on the phone, thanks to a Dualshock controller.

For video enthusiasts, the Z4v is a hit with its 4K video recording proficiencies. As well, its 5.2” screen has an impressive 2560 x 1440 resolution that offers a widescreen display with 4 x HD resolution quality. As well, its fast processor lets users browse online faster and enjoy high clarity when streaming content.

The tech update that the Xperia smartphone will run on Big Red within the next few months is big news because Sony has been trying to increase its stability within the American smartphone market. It hasn’t been easy as its marketing capabilities haven’t always been a hit with US consumers.

While Sony is known for quality products, getting its phones to the US masses has been an uphill battle for the company. In fact, earlier in 2015 there were rumors that Sony was going to ditch its full Xperia line as a way to lower costs. That rumor was amid reports of over one billion dollar losses for that year’s first quarter. Last year, Sony had sold its Vaio PC business under a similar train of thought.

By adding in Verizon to the mix, Sony has the potential to reach more people and increase its user base.

The exact date of the launch and the pricing is yet to be released. You can sign up for alerts through the Verizon website to track the release of the Sony Xperia Z4v there.
