Camera+ for iOS Gets Update: Selfies Get Easier

Taking a selfie is going to be a lot easier now for anyone who uses the Camera+ for iOS. The reason is the update that occurred today. And that update even applies to the Apple Watch. Camera+ is an Apple photography app from a developer that goes by the name of Tap tap tap.

If you have an Apple Watch on your wrist, now you have the option to remove the shutter on the Camera+. Yes, the “remove shutter” button is a new addition.

Now you can use the timer button to perfect that great smile you have to show for the pics you take. Those extra seconds that the timer provides may give you the opportunity to take better photos than ever before.
If you’re still a traditional photo taker, the Camera+ now has a “selfie” button all its own. It means that when you press it, you can now see yourself in the iPhone’s front-facing camera. That allows you to be the model you were meant to be. The selfie button is available through the Today widget.

This update is the newest one for Camera+ and good news given the selfie trend is so hot right now. Another big update for Camera+ came back in March of this year when its camera was able to be accessible from the lock screen. That means you don’t have to take the time to unlock your iPhone to use the third-party camera anymore. It is a time-saver and one less hoop to jump through in your day when you want to take a selfie.

Camera+ lets users have control over changing how their photos look too, including using filters to make your pics looks the best possible. The Clarity Filter, in particular, is a hit with many users; it is said on the app’s iTunes page to be the “iPhone photography’s secret sauce.”
