3 Oil Stocks to Watch: Comstock Resources Inc (NYSE:CRK), Rex Energy Corporation (NASDAQ:REXX), and Oasis Petrolium Inc. (NYSE:OAS)

US crude oil hit its lowest point in the last six-and-a-half years on Friday, along with there being issues with an oversupply globally of the resource. Then it was an edge higher for the US crude oil. Investors don’t seem to want to blink for fear of missing the changes to oil stocks. Here are three oil stocks to watch: Comstock Resources Inc (NYSE:CRK), Rex Energy Corporation (NASDAQ:REXX), and Oasis Petrolium Inc. (NYSE:OAS).

Comstock Resources Inc (NYSE:CRK) rose as of its most recent close by +4.56%. Over the past 52 weeks, the high was at $25.00 a stock; the low during that same period was -87.83%. As for the trade volume, it was at 2.83 million. The shares pricing have fallen over the past six months by -54.84%. At the present time, the stock trades at +8.13% over its SMA 50, with its SMA 200 being down -45.93%.

Rex Energy Corporation (NASDAQ:REXX) is the second oil stock to analyze here. It closed during last session at an increased price, with its high in the previous 52 weeks being at $15.62. This last closing price was under its SMA 50 by -12.61% and under -30.41% its SMA 200. As for the volume of the stock during that session, it was higher than usual. Its volume was 3.08 million shares, with a price gain measured at +14.33%.

Oasis Petrolium Inc. (NYSE:OAS) closed its last session at a price of $10.48 a share. That price was down -0.56 points from its close previous; it was down -5.07% and was +2.95% from its SMA 20. As for the trailing 12 months, the ROE is recorded to be 11.10%, realized because of the financial situation, and EPS has grown to a volume of $2.42. The low for the year was on August 5, when it was 8.16, and currently the short-term trend is up (as of August 7).
